Md. Bazar Govt. Spons. Primary Teachers’ Training Institute is one of the renowned Government Sponsored Institute in the district of Birbhum, situated in a village of Patelnagar, P.S- Md. Bazar. This institute stared in a Senior Basic Training College in the year 1957, now the institute running as Primary Teachers` Training institute . The institute is fully Government Sponsored institute under Govt. of West Bengal and recognition of NCTE and also affiliated by West Bengal Board of Primary Education. The institute is functioning in 06.72 acre beautiful campus at Patelnagar in between Suri and Sainthia township at Sadar Suri subdivision of Birbhum. From the beginning it is one of the pioneer institutes in D.El.Ed course in West Bengal. There are separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls with adequate security provision.
